Today I bring you a very good cherry cake. I saw the recipe a few days ago at Edith's and I knew for sure she would like it. I sat down and prepared her. A delicious fluff came out !!! Thanks so much for the recipe Edith!

  • 3 eggs
  • 100 gr butter
  • 200 gr sugar
  • 120 ml of milk
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 teaspoons powdered sugar with vanilla pods
  • 210 gr flour
  • 300 gr pitted cherries
  • powdered sugar

Preparation time: less than 90 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Cherry cake:

We put the pitted cherries in a sieve and let them drain.

We mix the butter (at room temperature) with 3-4 tablespoons of sugar.

Incorporate the yolks one by one, then the sugar and mix until you get a cream.

Gradually add the milk, baking powder and powdered sugar with vanilla pods.

In a bowl beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt.

Put 150 gr of flour over the yolk composition and mix at low speed.

We put the egg whites over them and incorporate them easily, and at the end the rest of the flour.


The composition should be a little thicker than the cake.

Grease a tart pan with margarine, line it with baking paper and pour the composition.

Put the tray in the hot oven for 7 minutes, then take it out and place the well drained cherries.

Put the cake in the oven for 35-40 minutes, until it turns golden.


We take it out when it's ready, let it cool.

Powder it with sugar and serve!
